Around 17:15-hours on Saturday afternoon July 3, eastside and downtown area BCFD companies were alerted for a reported dwelling fire in the 1900-block of Aisquith Street in the East Baltimore Midway community. Truck Co.5 and Engine Co.62(Running as Truck Co.12 due to reserve truck shortage) first due from the Coldstream Station on E 25th St/Kirk Ave arrived in on scene first reporting heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a two-story middle-of-row dwelling at address 1905 Aisquith Street. Minutes later Battalion 2 took command and requested a working fire dispatch. The fire had spread to both houses on each side of the original fire building.
It took close to 30 minutes for firefighters to bring the it under control. No injuries were reported, and the fire's cause is currently under investigation.
