Shortly before 11:30-hours on Saturday morning May 22, North Baltimore area BCFD companies plus the Special Rescue Operations team from the Steadman and Locust Point stations were dispatched for a reported vehicle crash into a house in the 3600-block of Roland Avenue in Hampden. Companies first due from the Hampden Station a block away arrived in on scene first reporting a vehicle that ran off the road going through the front wall of a 2-story wood-frame duplex. The driver of the vehicle was reported to be semi conscious, and was extricated and transported to an area hospital. It was believed to be the driver of the vehicle was heavily intoxicated when running off the road. No other injuries were reported.
