Shortly before 23:00-hours, southeast fire companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at address 1215 South Clinton Street in the Canton area of the city. Engine Co.50 arrived first in reporting heavy fire showing from a 3-story middle of the group rowhome and immediately requested a 2nd alarm on arrival. The fire spread to 3 other adjacent rowhomes. All occupants were reported safely out of the dwelling and no injuries were reported. It took at least an hour for firefighters to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
