Around 22:30-hours, west side city fire companies were dispatched for a reported vacant dwelling fire at address 3208 Clifton Avenue in the Walbrook section. Engine Co.20 and Truck Co.18 first due from Walbrook Station on West North Avenue arrived in reporting heavy fire showing throughout a 2 1/2-story vacant wood-frame single family dwelling. A few minutes later command requested a working fire. One firefighter was injured and had to be treated by EMS. It took nearly two hours for firefighters to bring the fire under control.
