Around 11:30-hours on Wednesday morning May 3, North side BCFD companies were dispatched for a reported apartment fire at the Park Lynn Apartments of address 4 Upland Road, next-door to the quarters of Engine Co.44 in the heart of Roland Park. The first in units arrived on scene to find a 2-story apartment building with smoke showing from the second floor of side-Delta. One victim was rescued by fire crews and transported by ambulance to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported, and the fire was believed to have started in the kitchen of an apartment unit on the second floor.
