Shortly after 15:00-Hours, southside BCFD companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at address 1649 Belt Street in the Riverside section of South Baltimore. Squad 26 and Truck 6 from the Locust Point Firehouse arrived in first on scene reporting fire showing from the basement of a 2-story end of the row brick dwelling with extension to the rear deck. The fire was knocked within about 15 minutes. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
