Shortly before 15:00-hours on Sunday afternoon December 27, downtown area and west side BCFD companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire in the 1300-block of Division Street in the Upton Marble Hill community of West Baltimore. Engine Co.13 and Truck Co.16 first due from the McMechen Street Station arrived in on scene first reporting fire showing from the first floor of Side C/D area of a 2-story end of group dwelling with extension to the 2nd floor. Just minutes later command requested a working fire dispatch. It took about 35 minutes for firefighters to bring the blaze under control. No injuries were reported, and the fire's cause is currently under investigation.
