Shortly before 16:30-hours on Sunday afternoon October 31, north and northwest area BCFD companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at address 2081 Druid Park Drive in the Woodberry neighborhood. Truck Co.25 first due truck company from the Hampden Station arrived in on scene first reporting fire showing from an end of the row two-story occupied dwelling. Unfortunately Engine Co.21 (first due engine company out of Hampden) was closed on this day due to manpower shortage, so the next engine company in was Engine Co.29 from the Park Heights Station. Firefighters made an interior attack and had the fire knocked and under control in about 40 minutes. No injuries were reported, and the fire's cause is currently under investigation.
